Matt & Danny

Danny, the Partner, graduated from special needs high school during Covid and has been trying to find new and meaningful ways to continue growing and moving forward in life.

Do For One introduced Danny to Matt in the Fall of 2023. Matt, the Advocate, is about a decade older than Danny and lives close by. They share a love for anything athletic and have enjoyed several biking and rock climbing adventures.Over the weekend, Danny and Matt were the first two runners to kick off our race and cross the finish line together

Danny says, “I love Matt, he’s a nice guy. We hung out at Riverside, my favorite park.”
 

Matt says, “I’ve really enjoyed our running, biking, and rock climbing adventures. I often return to and reflect on Danny’s saying: “Everyone is different, and that’s beautiful”.

Thanks to our runners like Matt, Danny, and Danny’s mom, Tanioka, we have now raised $10,848 towards our goal of $20K by the end of May! Consider supporting us to reach our goal. Thank you so much!
