Coalition Talks: Responding to Loneliness in NYC

Community is one of the greatest gifts we can offer a neighbor in need, yet loneliness and isolation are quietly devastating communities across New York City. The U.S. Surgeon General has declared loneliness a public health epidemic, with health risks as serious as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. And increasingly, people are turning to AI for companionship over seeking out a real human connection.
