Christmas is Still Six Months Away, But…

Pictured above is our epic celebration we hold around Christmas time. (Christmas!? Six months away, we know.) But the planning and love that go into our annual celebration match what goes into a wedding.

We just finished our spring campaign and wanted to show how this helps fund our events by showing you what this particular party means to us. Over 100 guests fill the room.

The tables are adorned and sparkling, the DJ is spinning tracks, and the catered dinner has arrived. The seats are thoughtfully assigned, every guest known by name. Any direction you turn, you'll meet people, once strangers, who now consider each other good neighbors, close friends, and sometimes even family.

Zooming In

Makenna (picture right, seen dancing with Annette), was inspired in a life changing way through Annette’s courage to move from a nursing home back into her apartment of 50 years. 

Ben and Devon are pictured here with the band getting ready to lead the room in a few Christmas Carols; but playing music together is not a one time occurrence for them. Throughout the year, they regularly lead worship at their church in Harlem.

Sharaya is pictured here with her honorary parents, who she met through her Advocate, Jane. Their family looks forward to dancing at the Christmas Party year after year, but outside of that they have celebrated birthdays and holidays together in all four seasons.
